EHA began the 2009-2010 school year with 165 students. The school is 85% African-American, 10% Caucasian, 4% Hispanic and 1% other. It is located at 6255 Warwick Road. We minister side by side with the Richmond Outreach Center. As part of Richmond Outreach Center’s 58,000 square foot facility on 16 acres, EHA has twelve spacious classrooms, a gymnasium, cafeteria, library, computer lab, playground, and playing fields for a full sports program.
Elijah House has grown from a handful of children 20 years ago to serving 165 in 2009. Today the school is emerging from its infancy and entering an exciting growth phase. Our growth in enrollment and budget is as follows:

| Enrollment | 150 | 165 | 180 |
| Budget | $699,746 | $756,080 | $952,100 |
Curriculum Development for 2010-2013:
• A Beka Curriculum
• School-wide computer programming (a technology upgrade)
• Full sports program
• Arts program including music, drama and visual arts
• Economics program
• Accredited high school program
Those Richmonders who are aware of Elijah House Academy and its remarkable work with the city’s economically challenged families are responding enthusiastically. Because so few people are cognizant of Elijah House’s existence, the school’s growth potential is significant. With its innovative teaching methods and noteworthy test scores demonstrating students’ achievement, EHA is gaining recognition in the community. We invite you to join hands with us as we serve God’s mandate in Richmond to raise up the next generation for Christ.
